I began making weighted blankets in 2003 when an Occupational Therapist asked me to sew some weighted blankets for clients at her clinic.  I didn’t like any of the blankets I saw there, so I decided to make a soft cuddly blanket that the kids would absolutely love.  The result is a soothing wrap that brings deep pressure and comfort to both children and adults. 

 

I still enjoy sewing each and every one of them.  There are a variety of colors and patterns to please all ages.

 

I love to see the smile on the kids’ faces when they wrap their blanket around them for the first time!
